“Nothing From Nothing” is the late American rapper Mac Miller’s cover version of the 1970s Billy Preston song of the same name. In “Nothing from Nothing”, the narrator (Mac Miller) is either addressing an individual or group of individuals. It is obvious that said person holds Mac in high esteem. However, Mac doesn’t believe this individual has anything to offer. In fact he would be belittling himself just to aspire to this person’s lofty perception of him.
